Revitalizing the Soul of Typography: Cultural Design Faculty and Students Launch Dual Exhibition at Shalu Shenbo Library
文化設計與行銷系組長許伯豪與大一學生，於4至5月在沙鹿深波圖書館，同時舉辦《字遊過了頭：文字造型的實驗與探索》、《察文觀字》兩場文字藝術展覽。許伯豪透過拆解、錯置、重組等方式，使文字產生極強視覺張力，像『「仇」過了頭』、『「食」過了頭』作品更直指僵化扭曲致使仇恨值高漲、對感官資訊過度消費等社會現象，發人深省。
Hsu Po-Hao, Section Chief of the Department of Cultural Design and Marketing, alongside freshman students, is hosting two concurrent typographic art exhibitions at the Shalu Shenbo Library from April to May: “Typography Overload: Experiments and Explorations in Letterforms” and “Observing Characters, Perceiving Words.” Through techniques such as deconstruction, displacement, and reassembly, Hsu creates profound visual tension within Chinese characters. Notable works such as “Hatred Overload” and “Consumption Overload” serve as provocative social commentaries, reflecting on phenomena such as rising hostility caused by rigid distortions in communication and the excessive consumption of sensory information.
