HKU Esports Center Establishes Female Team; Promotes Intergenerational Exchange with “Still Green” Senior Team
電競場上不僅有熱血競技，更有跨越年齡的溫情傳承！弘光科技大學「弘光獵鷹女子戰隊」於4月14日至16日展開為期三天的線下集訓，並於16日上午與平均年齡超過60歲的「弘光尚青」不老電競戰隊，進行別開生面的「跨世代交流見面會」，透過數位遊戲拉近兩代距離，傳達電競作為跨世代、跨性別溝通媒介的無限可能，也期望台灣女子電競戰隊能在國際舞台綻放光芒。
The esports arena is about more than just intense competition; it is a platform for the heartwarming transmission of passion across generations. The “Hungkuang Falcons Female Esports Team” held a three-day intensive offline training camp from April 14 to 16. On the morning of the 16th, the team hosted a unique “Intergenerational Exchange Meeting” with the “Hungkuang Still Green” Senior Esports Team, whose members average over 60 years of age. By bridging the generational gap through digital gaming, the event showcased esports as a powerful medium for cross-generational and cross-gender communication, while expressing hope for Taiwan’s female esports teams to shine on the international stage.
