“Youth Spreading Love, Senior Happiness” – Cross-Departmental Collaboration for a Heartwarming Mother’s Day Action
老人福利與長期照顧事業系、語言治療與聽力學系、餐旅管理系與美髮造型設計系，攜手華山基金會、臺中市沙鹿樂齡學習中心，於5月5日舉辦「青春傳愛．銀齡幸福」活動，邀請32位長輩走進校園，透過樂活闖關與精油芳香按摩，讓長期獨居、平時少有外出的長輩，感受久違的陪伴溫暖與節慶關懷，提前度過充滿溫馨與感動的母親節。
中棲非營利幼兒園小朋友帶來舞蹈「媽媽，加油！」並親手將康乃馨獻給每位阿嬤，傳遞滿滿祝福；隨後餐旅管理系精心準備的手作蛋糕驚喜登場，為現場增添溫馨的母親節氛圍。
The Department of Senior Citizen Welfare and Long-Term Care, the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, the Department of Hospitality Management, and the Department of Hair Styling and Design joined forces with the Huashan Foundation and the Shalu Active Ageing Learning Center to host the “Youth Spreading Love, Senior Happiness” event on May 5. Thirty-two seniors were invited to the campus to participate in LOHAS challenge games and essential oil aromatherapy massages. The event provided long-term solitary seniors, who rarely go out, with much-needed companionship and festive care, allowing them to celebrate an early Mother’s Day filled with warmth and emotion. Children from the Zhongqi Non-Profit Kindergarten performed a dance titled “Mom, Keep Fighting!” and personally presented carnations to each grandmother. This was followed by a surprise handmade cake prepared by the Department of Hospitality Management, adding a sweet finishing touch to the heartwarming atmosphere.
