Congratulations! Hungkuang University Awarded Gold for SDG07 and Bronze for SDG04 at the 2026 Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards
弘光科技大學蘇弘毅校長8月27日代表學校，領取「2026台灣永續行動獎」特優、銅獎兩面獎牌。本校分別以「智慧科技實踐淨零家園」榮獲SDG07特優，「高美古厝行動方案」獲得SDG04銅獎，展現長期將永續發展理念融入教學、研究與大學社會責任實踐，持續結合師生專業、社區需求及產官學資源，從在地議題出發尋找可持續解決方法的成果。
On August 27, President Su Hung-Yi represented Hungkuang University in receiving two honors at the 2026 Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards: a Gold Award and a Bronze Award. The university won the SDG07 Gold Award for its project “Implementing a Net-Zero Home with Smart Technology” and the SDG04 Bronze Award for the “Gaomei Ancient House Action Plan.” These accolades highlight HKU’s long-standing commitment to integrating sustainable development concepts into teaching, research, and University Social Responsibility (USR) initiatives. By continually combining the expertise of faculty and students, community needs, and resources across industry, government, and academia, the university demonstrates fruitful results in developing sustainable solutions grounded in local issues.
