Asian Games High Jump Gold Medalist Expresses Special Thanks to Hungkuang University in Post-Match Interview
甫落幕的名古屋亞運，我國跳高金牌得主傅兆玄，在賽後記者聯訪中，具名感謝弘光科大，這是由於物理治療系李瑋君老師負責照顧田徑項目的傅兆玄和楊俊瀚，是其專屬的物理治療師。另外，物治系畢業生張仁瑋是此次武術國手的隨隊物理治療師。
運動傷害防護是物治系很重要的培育特色，系上老師花很多時間在課室教學和場邊實務操作，目前已初見成效。統整過去到目前為止，國家隊參加國際賽事時，在田徑、武術、舉重、輕艇及自行車等專項都有弘光物治系的畢業生擔任隨隊物理治療師，讓選手由衷說出：謝謝弘光科大。
In the post-match joint press interview at the recently concluded Nagoya Asian Games, Taiwanese high jump gold medalist Fu Chao-hsuan specifically named and thanked Hungkuang University. This recognition was due to Teacher Lee Wei-chun from the Department of Physical Therapy, who served as the exclusive physical therapist providing care for track and field athletes Fu Chao-hsuan and Yang Chun-han. In addition, department alumnus Chang Jen-wei served as the team physical therapist for the wushu national athletes.
Sports injury prevention and care is an important core feature of the Department of Physical Therapy. Faculty members dedicate substantial time to classroom instruction and sideline practical operations, which have yielded fruitful results. To date, alumni from the Department of Physical Therapy have served as team physical therapists for national teams participating in international competitions across events including track and field, wushu, weightlifting, canoeing, and cycling—inspiring athletes to express their heartfelt gratitude: “Thank you, Hungkuang University.”
