Congratulations! Department of Hair Styling and Design Wins Big at Japan Art Festival & Global Beauty Elite Competition
美髮造型設計系承辦教育部補助技專校院國際技能競賽計畫，帶領選手赴日參加「日本藝術祭」比賽活動，我國選手共獲9項獎項。本校學生於包頭項目共獲3項獎項：侯虹伃獲準優秀賞（指導老師：陳佳惠）、黃舒妤獲優秀技能賞（指導老師：呂佩芸）、林瑀芯獲廠商大獎（指導老師：呂佩芸），展現專業教學與人才培育成果。
另外，系主任呂佩芸於10月28日帶領學生，前往新竹參加「全球美業菁英大賽」，張任宏、鍾淀芸老師亦撥空到場支持。參賽學生涵蓋四技部及二技部已投入職場的專業設計師，參與時尚編梳造型、創意包頭、標準冷燙、商業剪髮及女士創意剪染等5個競賽組別，共有28位學生獲獎，包括冠軍4件、亞軍4件、季軍4件及佳作19件，成果豐碩。

The Department of Hair Styling and Design organized the Ministry of Education’s subsidy program for international skill competitions in technical and vocational colleges, leading contestants to Japan to participate in the “Japan Art Festival,” where Taiwanese contestants won a total of 9 awards. Students from our university secured 3 awards in the Updo Category: Hong-Yu Hou won the Semi-Excellence Award (Advisor: Chia-Hui Chen), Shu-Yu Huang won the Outstanding Skill Award (Advisor: Pei-Yun Lu), and Yu-Xin Lin received the Industry Special Award (Advisor: Pei-Yun Lu), demonstrating the fruits of professional instruction and talent cultivation.
Additionally, Department Chair Pei-Yun Lu led students to Hsinchu on October 28 to participate in the “Global Beauty Elite Competition,” with instructors Ren-Hong Zhang and Dian-Yun Zhong also attending to support the team. Participating students included both four-year and two-year undergraduate students who are already active professional designers in the industry. Competing across 5 categories—Fashion Hair Braiding, Creative Updo, Standard Cold Waves, Commercial Haircutting, and Ladies’ Creative Cut & Color—a total of 28 students won awards, including 4 Championships, 4 Runner-ups, 4 Second Runner-ups, and 19 Honorable Mentions, achieving fruitful results.
