Department of Hospitality Management Invites Chair of Worldchefs Education Committee for Demonstration Teaching
餐旅管理系於10月27日至29日邀請德國籍國際主廚 Andreas J.W. Mueller 辦理示範教學。Chef Mueller 現任世界廚師聯合會（Worldchefs）教育委員會主席，曾任香港職業訓練局（VTC）／國際廚藝學院（ICI）西餐廚藝教育主管，並曾擔任香港廚師協會榮譽會長（2011－2013），具豐富國際餐飲教育與廚藝專業經驗。除在校內進行示範教學，10月29日更前往明德高中進行專業示範與交流，透過國際主廚、校友與高中端學生的交流，提升學生專業學習、增加國際視野及強化兩校合作連結。
From October 27 to 29, the Department of Hospitality Management invited German international chef Andreas J.W. Mueller to conduct demonstration teaching. Chef Mueller currently serves as the Chair of the Education Committee of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs). He previously served as the Head of Culinary Education (Western Culinary) at the Vocational Training Council (VTC) / International Culinary Institute (ICI) in Hong Kong, and as Honorary President of the Hong Kong Chefs Association (2011–2013), possessing extensive international culinary education and professional expertise. In addition to conducting demonstration teaching on campus, Chef Mueller visited Mingder Senior High School on October 29 for professional demonstrations and exchanges. Through interactions among the international chef, alumni, and high school students, the initiative enhanced students’ professional learning, expanded their global perspective, and strengthened the collaborative ties between the two schools.
