弘光科技大學食品科技系舉辦「食光」成果展，食品科技組、烘焙科技組學生盡情展現所學。食品科技組第一名研究出可可豆殼茶的最佳沖泡方式，為台灣種植可可豆的小農提供農業副產品加工利用、增進收入的新方向；烘焙科技組蛋糕項目第一名則是作品「翻轉番茄」，學生用番茄、打拋豬做蛋糕捲，呈現鹹甜微酸辣的創新風味，令人驚艷。

The Department of Food Science and Technology at Hungkuang University held the “Time for Food” achievement exhibition, where students from both the Food Science and Technology Module and the Baking Technology Module fully demonstrated what they have learned. The first-place winner in the Food Science and Technology Module researched the optimal brewing method for cocoa bean husk tea, providing a new direction for small-scale cocoa bean farmers in Taiwan to process and utilize agricultural by-products to increase their income. Meanwhile, the first-place winner in the cake category of the Baking Technology Module was the creation Topsy-Turvy Tomato, in which students used tomatoes and Thai basil minced pork to make a cake roll, presenting an astonishing and innovative flavor that is simultaneously savory, sweet, slightly sour, and spicy.
