An international volunteer team from Hungkuang University—consisting of 8 students and alumni along with 2 faculty advisors—has recently returned from a two-week overseas educational service trip to Datong Middle School in Ban Hin Taek, Chiang Rai Province, Northern Thailand. Sharing their experiences on September 11, team members noted that the most significant departure from previous years was the expansion of their service scope. This year, they helped the school build an administrative information system, produce student ID cards, and mentor the establishment of a student association. Through these efforts, a short-term volunteer service project was successfully transformed into a sustainable digital system and student self-governance model for long-term local use.
