Supported by the Ministry of Education’s “New Southbound Policy – New Southbound Pilot Program” (Pilot Program for Overseas Internship), eight students from the Department of Nursing at Hungkuang University traveled to Assumption University—Thailand’s first top-tier, all-English instruction university—for a 6-week overseas internship during the summer break. The students gained in-depth experience in Thai public and private hospitals, specialized clinics, and local communities. At the end of the internship, they delivered their final presentations in English, demonstrating solid nursing expertise and cross-cultural adaptability, which earned high praise from the faculty at Assumption University.
