弘光科技大學發揮設計與數位科技跨域專業，攜手財團法人精密機械研究發展中心（PMC）、臺中市立圖書館沙鹿深波分館及弘毓社會福利基金會，10月5日邀請鹿陽國小、瑞井國小學童參與「智閱未來機器人故事創客日」生命教育活動，以機器人說故事，讓閱讀成為理解與陪伴的開始為主軸，結合AI繪本創作、視覺設計、機器人說故事及早療生命教育，引導孩子從閱讀認識生命差異，再運用AI將理解與想像化為創作，讓大學專業與科技成為連結教育、公益及社會關懷的力量。

Leveraging its interdisciplinary expertise in design and digital technology, Hungkuang University partnered with the Precision Machinery Research & Development Center (PMC), Taichung Public Library Shalu Shenbo Branch, and the Hong-Yu Social Welfare Foundation to host the “Smart Reading Future: Robot Story Maker Day” life education event on October 5. Elementary students from Luyang Elementary School and Ruijing Elementary School were invited to participate.

Centering on the theme “Robot Storytelling: Making Reading the Beginning of Understanding and Companionship,” the event integrated AI picture book creation, visual design, robot storytelling, and early intervention life education. It guided children to recognize and respect individual differences in life through reading, while empowering them to use AI to transform their empathy and imagination into creative works—demonstrating how university expertise and technological innovation can serve as a vital bridge connecting education, public welfare, and social care.
