外語暨全英教學中心申請國科會「全球鏈結青年轉化培育計畫」（International Intern Pilot Program，簡稱IIPP），成功招募美國紐約市立大學(CUNY)和印尼農業大學(IPB)兩位外籍生來校實習3個月。兩人實習期間協助外語中心的各項英語活動以及暑期密集英語班課程，幫助該校同學提升英文程度。其中來自布魯克林學院的美國同學因為非常喜歡弘光的學習環境，還繼續留下來上華語課。

Subject: US and Indonesian Interns Join Forces as the Center for Foreign Languages Showcases Outstanding International Education Capacity
The Center for Foreign Languages and English-Medium Instruction successfully applied for the National Science and Technology Council’s (NSTC) “International Intern Pilot Program” (IIPP), recruiting two foreign interns from the City University of New York (CUNY) and IPB University (Institut Pertanian Bogor) in Indonesia for a three-month internship at Hungkuang University. During their stay, the two interns assisted with various English language activities organized by the Center and supported the Summer Intensive English Program, helping local students enhance their English proficiency. Notably, the student from CUNY’s Brooklyn College enjoyed the learning environment at Hungkuang so much that he decided to stay and continue taking Mandarin language courses.
