The Center for General Education once again collaborated with the Taichung International Fellowship in October, inviting and arranging for American students and professional industry mentors to participate in classroom co-teaching. The initiative guides and encourages students to express themselves in spoken English while strengthening their cross-cultural communication skills. Southeast Asian international students highly praised the learning environment that enables them to “look globally while grounded at Hungkuang,” as they had the opportunity to interact with industry mentors visiting from the United States and listen to shared workplace experiences and festive cultural traditions.
