The Tomb Sweeping Day is approaching. This is a reminder to all faculty, staff, and students to prioritize campus safety and prevent electrical hazards. Before leaving labs, offices, or dorms, please implement the following energy safety measures:
Equipment Shutdown：Turn off all non-essential appliances (ex, photocopiers, fans, water dispensers, coffee makers, air conditioners).
Computer Devices：Properly shut down all computers and peripherals (printers, monitors, etc.). It’s recommended to unplug power cords or extension cords.
Fire Prevention：Remove unnecessary plugs from outlets and clear any flammable items near sockets to avoid short circuits.
Gas Equipment：Ensure stoves and gas valves are fully closed.
Final Check：The last person to leave must confirm all doors and windows are securely locked, and check for any potential leaks or heat sources.
