为了让学生与产业接轨，食品科系助理教授杨智伟执行教育部「产业学院」计画，与知名18度C巧克力工房产学合作，选送3名优秀学生前往实习，学习商业制程、行销，厚植职场竞争力，其中念研究所学生论文主题引起工房兴趣，另一名毕业生透过实习及工读经验，毕业后顺利就业。
