Congratulations! Smart Tech Faculty and Students Win Gold at National AI Robot Competition
智慧科技应用系师生组成的「弘光有够赞」团队，日前在「2026全国AI机器人应用大赛」中，从全国85支菁英队伍中脱颖而出，勇夺「MICROBIT主机板遥控竞速赛组」金牌。其中大四的马来西亚籍学生林孝彦，透过参加竞赛及专题研究，深化智慧科技知识技能，决定留台深造考研究所，充份展现技职教育扎根与国际人才培育的亮眼成果。
The “Hungkuang Is So Awesome” team, composed of faculty and students from the Department of Smart Technology Applications, recently stood out among 85 elite teams nationwide to clinch the gold medal in the “MICROBIT Motherboard Remote Control Racing Competition” category at the “2026 National AI Robot Application Competition.” Among the team members, Lim Xiao Yen, a senior student from Malaysia, successfully deepened his knowledge and practical skills in smart technology through participating in competitions and special research projects. He has decided to remain in Taiwan to pursue further studies in graduate school, fully demonstrating the brilliant results of solid vocational education and international talent cultivation.
